We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Engineer for our BIM team. The candidate will be responsible for converting 2D telecom drawings into accurate 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit. The role involves developing telecom layouts, modelling containment systems, coordinating with other disciplines, and preparing project drawings and documentation in accordance with telecom project requirements and BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Convert 2D telecom drafting documents into accurate 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit 2026.
- Develop and update telecom layouts, cable routing plans, installation drawings, sections, and details.
- Model telecom containment systems, including cable trays, conduits, trunking, and cable pathways.
- Coordinate telecom systems with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, and other relevant disciplines.
- Apply appropriate IFC classifications and parameters to telecom model elements as per project requirements.
- Create and maintain Revit schedules, including equipme
- nt schedules and other project-specific schedules.




- Create and modify Revit families, view templates, filters, tags, and other modelling components as required.
- Ensure assigned modelling tasks and deliverables are completed within project deadlines.

Required Skills And Qualifications

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, electrical engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in telecom 3D modelling or a related BIM field.
- Positive working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience converting 2D telecom drawings into 3D models.
- Understanding of telecom systems, structured cabling, cable routing, containment systems, and telecom room layouts.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of IFC classifications, IFC export, and model data requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, project specifications, and BIM standards.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Revit families, parameters, schedules, view templates, and drawing documentation.
- Understanding of Level of Development (LOD)
- Experience working on telecom infrastructure projects.
