Satej Innovations is a wholesale trader of networking and telecommunication hardware, supplying businesses across India, from startups to large enterprises. We focus on rapid procurement, reliable supply chains, expert product recommendations and long-term partnerships.

The Role

We need one accountant who can own our entire accounts function, from raising the first invoice to filing the final tax return. You will be the single point of contact for everything financial: billing, books, banking, compliance, reporting and audit. You will work in both Zoho Books and Tally.

Responsibilities

Invoicing and billing

- Prepare quotations, sales orders, tax invoices, e-invoices, e-way bills, credit notes and debit notes
- Raise purchase orders and book purchase bills

Accounts and banking

- Maintain books of accounts and the general ledger in Zoho Books and Tally
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments and customer collections
- Do daily bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation of vendors and customers
- Track inventory and stock-related accounting entries

Taxation and compliance

- Handle GST end to end: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation and ITC matching
- Handle TDS/TCS calculation,



deduction, deposit and returns
- Support advance tax, income tax and ROC/statutory filings, coordinating with our CA
- Keep records ready for audits and assessments

Reporting and closing

- Complete monthly, quarterly and annual closing
- Prepare MIS, receivables ageing, payables, profit and loss, and cash flow reports
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and internal teams

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field (CA Inter, CMA or equivalent is an advantage)
- Working proficiency in both Zoho Books and Tally
- Proven experience across invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliation and ledger maintenance
- Strong, hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory filings
- Good command of Excel or Google Sheets
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and communicate clearly

Good to Have

- Experience in a wholesale, trading or distribution business
- Experience with IT or telecom hardware trading
- Familiarity with e-invoicing and e-way bill portals
