Monitor and operate Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) processes to achieve prescribed discharge and reuse water quality standards.
Ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board (PCB) regulations, consent conditions, and environmental requirements.
Monitor and optimize chemical dosing, process parameters, and plant performance for effective treatment operations.
Carry out routine inspections and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of ETP/STP equipment, pumps, blowers, and utilities.
Manage sludge handling, dewatering, storage, and disposal activities as per applicable guidelines.
Maintain daily operational records, logbooks, chemical consumption records, and performance reports.
Collect samples and support monitoring of water, effluent, and sewage quality parameters.
Supervise operators and contract manpower, ensuring adherence to operating procedures and positive housekeeping practices.
Ensure protected working practices, PPE compliance, permit-to-work requirements, and implementation of EHS standards.
Support water conservation initiatives, treated water reuse programs, and continuous improvement projects to enhance plant efficiency and sustainability.
