About the Role

Task Force Interiors Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a result-oriented Procurement Professional to manage and coordinate procurement activities for its ongoing and upcoming interior fit-out, civil construction, commercial, healthcare and turnkey projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in material sourcing, vendor development, rate negotiation, purchase order management, cost optimisation and timely material delivery to project sites.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability of quality materials at competitive prices while adhering to project budgets, specifications and execution timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Material Sourcing

- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for interior fit-out and civil construction projects.
- Source materials required for project execution, including civil, interior finishing, electrical, plumbing, MEP and allied works.
- Procure materials such as plywood, laminates, MDF, particle boards, gypsum boards, false ceiling materials, flooring, tiles, marble, hardware, glass, aluminium, paints, adhesives, lighting fixtures and modular furniture components.
- Coordinate procurement requirements for in-house manufacturing and factory operations.
- Ensure timely sourcing and delivery of materials as per project schedules.

2. Vendor Management & Negotiation

- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors, suppliers and manufacturers.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Maintain a strong vendor database and establish long-term supplier relationships.
- Evaluate vendors based on pricing, quality, reliability and delivery performance.

Purchase Order & Inventory Management

- Prepare and release purchase orders based on approved requirements and budgets.
- Coordinate with project teams, site engineers, quantity surveyors and accounts departments for material requirements.
- Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, material receipts and pending supplies.
- Ensure proper documentation of purchase requests, quotations, approvals, invoices and delivery challans.
- Monitor material consumption, stock availability and avoid unnecessary purchases or excess inventory.

4. Cost Control & Commercial Management

- Ensure procurement within approved project budgets and cost estimates.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising material quality and specifications.
- Analyse market rates and maintain competitive pricing across suppliers.
- Track procurement expenses and support project cost-control activities.
- Coordinate with the accounts and finance teams for vendor payments and invoice reconciliation.

5. Project & Internal Coordination

- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QS, Design and Factory teams to understand material specifications and procurement requirements.
- Ensure materials are procured as per approved BOQs, technical specifications and drawings.
- Coordinate material approvals and samples wherever required.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, including delayed deliveries, quality discrepancies and material shortages.
- Support multiple project locations and ensure smooth procurement operations across sites.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and civil construction materials.




- Experience in project-based procurement and bulk material purchasing.
- Vendor identification, development and management.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
- Knowledge of BOQ, material specifications and technical requirements.
- Purchase order processing and procurement documentation.
- Cost estimation, comparative statement preparation and cost control.
- Inventory and material management.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP / Procurement Management Systems.
- Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Business Administration or a relevant discipline.

Experience & Eligibility

- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement or purchase functions.
- Experience in Interior Fit-Out, Civil Construction, Commercial Interiors, General Contracting or Turnkey Projects is preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience handling multiple project procurements will be preferred.
- Should be comfortable coordinating with vendors, factories, project sites and internal departments.

Preferred Candidate:

We are looking for professionals who understand the procurement requirements of execution-driven construction and interior fit-out projects and can independently manage sourcing, negotiations, vendor coordination and material deliveries.

Candidates with experience in healthcare interiors, corporate office fit-outs, commercial buildings, hospitality projects and modular furniture manufacturing will have an added advantage.
