Key Responsibilities

- Perform chemical and physical testing of cement samples as per relevant IS standards.
- Conduct chemical analysis of cement, including:
- Silica (SiO₂)
- Alumina (Al₂O₃)
- Iron Oxide (Fe₂O₃)
- Calcium Oxide (CaO)
- Magnesium Oxide (MgO)
- Sulphur Trioxide (SO₃)
- Loss on Ignition (LOI)
- Insoluble Residue (IR)
- Perform physical testing of cement, including:
- Fineness test
- Standard consistency test
- Initial and final setting time
- Soundness test
- Compressive strength test
- Handle testing of different types of cement, such as OPC, PPC and PSC.
- Prepare cement samples, chemical reagents and solutions for laboratory analysis.
- Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment and instruments.
- Ensure testing is carried out according to applicable IS standards and approved procedures.
- Analyse test results and prepare accurate test reports.
- Maintain laboratory records, worksheets and testing documentation.
- Monitor equipment calibration and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with NABL and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.




- Guide and supervise junior chemists and laboratory technicians.
- Maintain laboratory safety, housekeeping and quality control procedures.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in cement chemical and physical testing.
- Knowledge of OPC, PPC and PSC cement testing.
- Knowledge of IS 4031 and IS 4032 standards.
- Knowledge of building materials testing procedures.
- Laboratory equipment handling and calibration.
- Chemical analysis and test report preparation.
- Knowledge of NABL documentation and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
