We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Underwriting Executive with experience in Motor, Commercial, Life, Health and/or Cyber Insurance. The candidate will be responsible for risk assessment, policy underwriting, documentation, policy issuance and coordination with insurance companies while ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and IRDAI regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle underwriting of Motor Insurance policies, including Private Car, Two-Wheeler and Commercial Vehicles.
- Manage Commercial Insurance products such as Fire, Marine, Engineering, Liability and Miscellaneous policies.
- Process individual and group Life and Health Insurance proposals.
- Handle Cyber Insurance proposals for corporate and commercial clients.
- Evaluate risks, verify proposal forms and review supporting documents.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, approvals,



risk assessments and policy issuance.
- Manage policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, cancellations and portability cases.
- Coordinate vehicle inspections and handle motor break-in cases.
- Follow up on pending documents and underwriting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with insurer underwriting guidelines and IRDAI regulations.
- Maintain accurate underwriting records and provide support to internal teams and clients.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Knowledge of insurance underwriting principles and processes.
- Understanding of Motor, Commercial, Life, Health or Cyber Insurance.
- Knowledge of IRDAI guidelines and insurance regulations.
- Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills.
- Good documentation and risk assessment abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and insurance portals.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline.
- 1–4 years of experience in insurance underwriting.
- Experience with an insurance broker or insurance company preferred.
- Insurance-related certifications will be an added advantage.
