Department: Corporate Sales & Business DevelopmentJob SummaryWe are seeking an aggressive and technically adept Technical Sales Engineer specializing in B2B / Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) solar solutions. In this role, you will drive business growth by identifying, consulting, and closing high-value rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects for factories, commercial buildings, educational institutions, and warehouses across Kerala.You will manage the entire corporate sales cycle—from technical feasibility assessments and corporate presentations to navigating KSEB regulatory policies and final contract signing.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Corporate Client Acquisition

- B2B Lead Generation: Actively map and target C&I; industrial zones, commercial complexes, and corporate institutions to build a robust B2B pipeline.
- Corporate Presentations: Pitch customized renewable energy strategies to C-level executives, plant managers, and purchase heads, aligning solar investments with their corporate sustainability (ESG) and operational cost-saving goals.

Technical Consultancy & Engineering Liaison

- Industrial Site Feasibility: Conduct macro site assessments, evaluate complex corporate electrical setups, and study transformers, HT/LT lines, and roof integrity.
- Technical Sizing: Deeply analyze industrial utility tariffs, maximum demand (MD), and load profiles to propose optimum system configurations (On-grid, Hybrid, Captive plants).
- Cross-functional Collaboration:



Work hand-in-hand with our internal design engineers to develop preliminary AutoCAD layouts, PVSyst single-line diagrams, and bill of materials (BOM).

Financial Engineering & Deal Closure

- Capex & Opex Proposals: Structure detailed financial models highlighting CapEx investments, internal rate of return (IRR), net present value (NPV), and depreciated tax benefits.
- Commercial Negotiation: Draft, negotiate, and close high-value commercial contracts, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), or turnkey EPC agreements.

Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience

- Degree: B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering. (An MBA in Sales/Marketing is a significant advantage).
- Experience: 2–5 years of corporate B2B sales experience, ideally selling Solar EPC projects, capital equipment, HVAC, industrial electrical machinery, or infrastructure solutions.

Technical & Regulatory Expertise

- In-depth understanding of industrial solar applications, high-efficiency modules, central/string inverters, and power evacuation.
- Robust familiarity with KSEB regulatory standards, industrial electricity tariffs, and open-access solar regulations in Kerala.
- Proficiency in analyzing solar yield metrics and reading engineering drawings.

Corporate Soft Skills & Mobility

- Language: Professional command over English and Malayalam to seamlessly interact with both corporate boards and on-site factory technicians.
- Skills: Strong enterprise selling capabilities, sharp financial acumen, and high-stakes negotiation skills.
