Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in precision manufacturing or sheet metal industries. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting sheet metal components, ensuring product quality as per drawings and specifications, identifying defects, and maintaining quality documentation throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished sheet metal parts to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications for component inspection.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and other inspection tools to verify component dimensions.
- Perform first-piece inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection of manufactured components.
- Identify defects such as dimensional variations, burrs, welding defects, surface defects, and other quality issues.
- Coordinate with the Production Department to resolve quality-related issues and minimize rejection and rework.
- Maintain inspection reports, rejection records,



quality check sheets, and other relevant quality documentation.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurring defects.
- Ensure compliance with established quality procedures and customer specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in a precision manufacturing, sheet metal, fabrication, or engineering industry.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, dimensional inspection, tolerances, and basic quality standards.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
- Basic knowledge of rejection analysis, defect identification, and quality documentation.
- Good observation skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with experience in sheet metal components, precision parts, fabrication, or automotive component manufacturing will be preferred.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing/production workplace.
- Freshers are not preferred; relevant industry experience of 1–2 years is required.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
