Store Manager: Juice Shop

Position summary
The Store Manager runs the daily operations of the juice shop, leading the team, keeping product quality and service consistently high, and managing costs and sales to meet business goals. The role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and cares about fresh, healthy products.

Key responsibilities

Operations

- Open and close the store, and ensure the shop runs smoothly during all service hours
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards, including equipment sanitation and compliance with local health regulations
- Make sure juices, smoothies, and other menu items are prepared to recipe and presentation standards

Team leadership

- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff
- Motivate the team, give regular feedback, and resolve conflicts
- Lead by example on the counter during peak hours

Inventory and purchasing

- Order fruits, vegetables, and supplies, and manage supplier relationships
- Monitor stock levels, rotate perishables, and minimize waste and spoilage
- Run regular stock counts and report discrepancies

Sales and finance

- Track daily sales, cash handling, and till reconciliation
- Control costs,



including labor, ingredients, and wastage, to protect margins
- Work toward sales and profit targets, and suggest promotions, combos, and seasonal menu ideas

Customer experience

- Deliver friendly, prompt service and handle complaints professionally
- Gather customer feedback and use it to improve the menu and service
- Support local marketing, social media, and loyalty initiatives

Qualifications

- 0-2 years of experience in food and beverage, retail, or quick-service management (juice bar or café experience preferred)
- Robust leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Comfortable with basic math, POS systems, and inventory tracking
- Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Passion for health, nutrition, and fresh food
