Amity International School, Pushp Vihar is looking for a passionate, dedicated, and student-oriented PRT Science Teacher to join our academic team.

Position: PRT Science Teacher
Location: Amity International School, Pushp Vihar New Delhi
Experience: Relevant teaching experience preferred
School Experience: Preferred, particularly in a CBSE school

Key Responsibilities
Teach Science to primary-grade students using engaging and interactive teaching methodologies.
Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
Develop students’ conceptual understanding through activities, experiments, and practical learning.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching resources.
Monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Integrate activity-based and experiential learning into classroom teaching.




Coordinate with parents and colleagues regarding students’ progress and development.
Participate in school activities, academic planning, and other assigned responsibilities.

Eligibility Criteria
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Science or a relevant discipline.
✔ B.Ed. qualification preferred/required as per school norms.
✔ Robust subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ Ability to engage young learners through creative and interactive teaching methods.

Preferred Skills
Experience teaching Science at the primary level.
Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and activity-based learning.
Strong classroom management and lesson-planning skills.
A student-centric approach with a focus on conceptual learning.
