Job Description – Senior Data Engineer (Microsoft Azure Data Platform)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to design, develop, and manage scalable data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, analytics solutions, and enterprise data governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Manage ADLS Gen2, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB.
- Develop analytics solutions using Azure Data Explorer and KQL.
- Implement Dynamics 365 Customer Insights (CDP).
- Develop Python scripts, REST API integrations, and data transformation workflows.
- Build Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX.
- Implement data governance, lineage, GDPR compliance, and secure access.
- Manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Repos, and Boards.
- Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and follow Agile methodologies.
- Support AI initiatives using Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry.

Required Skills





- 5–10 years of Azure Data Engineering experience.
- Mandatory: Previous experience as a vendor contractor assigned to Microsoft projects.
- Strong expertise in ADF, ADLS Gen2, Synapse, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Explorer, KQL, and Python.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights or similar CDP.
- Strong Power BI, DAX, data modeling, and data warehousing skills.
- Knowledge of Azure Container Apps, microservices, REST APIs, and Azure Key Vault.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and data governance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft engineering standards: OneBranch, CloudBuild, LiveSite DRI.
- Working knowledge of Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry.
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
