Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled SolidWorks Sheet Metal Designer with 2–5 years of experience in sheet metal design and fabrication. The candidate will be responsible for developing 3D models, preparing fabrication-ready drawings, generating flat patterns, and supporting manufacturing operations through accurate engineering designs.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D models of sheet metal components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Develop models based on physical samples, hand sketches, engineering drawings, and imported STEP files.




- Generate accurate DXF flat patterns for laser cutting operations.
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Apply knowledge of sheet metal design principles, bend allowances, bend deductions, and material specifications.
- Ensure designs are compatible with CNC bending and sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to resolve design-related issues and ensure manufacturing accuracy.

Candidate Profile

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks Sheet Metal Design.
- Positive command of 3D modelling, sheet metal development, and fabrication drawings.
- Practical understanding of laser cutting, CNC bending, and sheet metal manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and physical samples.
- Candidates with experience in precision fabrication or industrial manufacturing will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
