Key Responsibilities & DutiesSystem Maintenance & Repair

- Maintain critical infrastructure: Install, troubleshoot, and repair domestic hot/cold water systems, drainage, sewage, and backflow prevention devices.
- Manage medical gas systems: Inspect and repair medical gas lines (oxygen, vacuum, nitrous oxide, and medical air) in compliance with safety standards (e.g., NFPA 99).
- Fix specialized equipment: Maintain hospital-specific fixtures, including surgical sinks, decontamination units, eye-wash stations, autoclaves, and commercial kitchen/laundry plumbing.

Infection Control & Safety Compliance

- Prevent waterborne pathogens: Collaborate with infection control teams to monitor and maintain water systems to prevent Legionella and other waterborne bacteria.
- Follow strict protocols: Adhere to strict Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) guidelines,



using containment tents and negative air machines when opening walls or ceilings in patient areas.
- Maintain safety standards: Follow OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and hospital safety codes.

Emergency & Routine Operations

- Respond to emergencies: Promptly isolate and repair leaks, burst pipes, or clogs to minimize disruption to patient care and prevent damage to expensive medical equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM): Regularly test valves, backflow preventers, water heaters, and pumps according to a scheduled PM program.
- Maintain accurate records: Document all completed work orders, system tests, and compliance inspections in the hospital’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
