Key Responsibilities

- Teach German language to students at levels A1 to B2 (and C1 if qualified), following the CEFR framework
- Prepare students for exams such as Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF, TELC, and ÖSD
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons covering speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and practice tests
- Conduct regular assessments, mock tests, and speaking practice sessions
- Track each student’s progress and give constructive feedback to students and, where needed, parents or counsellors
- Help students with pronunciation, sentence formation, and everyday conversation
- Guide students on German culture, university life, and practical communication for living in Germany
- Coordinate with the counselling team to keep students on track for their exam and visa timelines
- Maintain attendance and batch records, and submit progress reports on time
- Stay up to date with exam patterns, syllabus changes, and teaching methods

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in German, Languages, Education, or any discipline with a recognised German certification
- Minimum B2 certification in German (C1 preferred, and required for teaching B1 and above)
- 1+ years of teaching or tutoring experience (freshers with strong certification and communication skills may be considered)
- Fluency in English and the local language (e.g., Malayalam) to explain concepts clearly




- Prior experience preparing students for Goethe or other recognised exams is an advantage
- Teaching qualification or training such as a Goethe-Institute teacher training course or a TEFL/TESOL-type certificate is a plus

Language and Teaching Skills

- Strong command of German grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
- Ability to explain complex grammar simply (cases, articles, verb conjugation, sentence structure)
- Knowledge of CEFR levels and exam formats
- Ability to adapt teaching style to different learning speeds and age groups

Interpersonal Skills

- Transparent, confident communication and good classroom presence
- Patience and the ability to motivate students
- Approachable manner that encourages students to speak without fear of mistakes

Technical Skills

- Comfortable teaching online using Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams
- Ability to use digital tools such as Google Classroom, PowerPoint, interactive whiteboards, and language apps
- Basic computer skills for reports and record keeping

Personal Qualities

- Punctual, organised, and dependable
- Passionate about languages and teaching
- Willing to take feedback and keep improving

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
