JOB DESCRIPTION – CAFE SERVER

Position: Cafe Server / WaiterDepartment: Food & Beverage ServiceEmployment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

- Welcome customers warmly and assist them with seating.
- Present menus and explain food and beverage items to customers.
- Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and skilled manner.
- Ensure tables are clean, organised and ready for the next customers.
- Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness in the dining area.
- Handle customer requests, feedback and complaints politely.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members for smooth operations.
- Assist with table billing and payment collection when required.
- Ensure customers receive excellent hospitality and service throughout their visit.
- Follow the cafe’s service standards, rules and operating procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and punctuality.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, polite and customer-oriented attitude.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cafe environment.
- Teamwork and time-management skills.
- Previous cafe, restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
- Freshers with a positive attitude may also apply.
