At Thea IT Solutions, we're building and spinning up multiple technology products across different industries. Every product needs people who care about how well it works, how reliably it performs, and what happens when users push it beyond the expected.
We're looking for someone curious about software, detail-oriented, and interested in finding problems before users do. You'll work alongside our engineering team, testing real products, automating repetitive tests, exploring edge cases, and understanding how applications behave under load.
This isn't about spending three months just watching tutorials. We want someone who learns by doing, experiments independently, and takes ownership of the things they work on.
What You'll Work On
- Perform manual, functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and report bugs.
- Write and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Develop automated tests for web applications and APIs.
- Learn and work with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Perform API testing using Postman.
- Conduct load and performance testing using tools such as k6 or Apache JMeter.
- Evaluate application performance under concurrent users and varying workloads.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and document test results.
- Verify bug fixes and collaborate with developers to improve product quality.
What We're Looking For
- Basic understanding of software applications and how they work.
- Interest in QA, test automation, and performance testing.
- Logical thinking and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of web technologies and APIs.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or any programming language is a plus.
- Exposure to Postman, Playwright, Selenium, k6, or JMeter is a plus.
- Willingness to learn independently, experiment, and take initiative.
You don't need prior qualified QA experience. Personal projects, practical experiments, and a genuine interest in understanding how software works are valuable.
Internship Details
- Duration: 3 months.
- Stipend: Unpaid.
- Hands-on experience testing real products.
- Exposure to manual testing, automation, API testing, and load testing.
- Work closely with developers and the engineering team.
Work Location: In person
