JOB REQUIREMENT – MECHANICAL HEAD

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.

Diploma candidates with strong relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience

5 years Minimum of experience in Mechanical Maintenance.

Experience in Aluminium Foil / Rolling Mill / Metal Processing / Manufacturing Industry will be preferred.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or team-handling role.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Good knowledge of mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery.

Experience with Rolling Mill, Annealing Furnace, Slitter, Separator, Compressor, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems will be preferred.

Knowledge of bearings, gearboxes, couplings, pumps, lubrication systems and other mechanical equipment.

Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Breakdown Maintenance.

Ability to identify mechanical problems and carry out effective troubleshooting.

Knowledge of maintenance spares and coordination with Stores/Purchase.

Basic knowledge of fabrication, welding and machining work.





Ability to maintain maintenance records and preventive maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for mechanical maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.

Minimize machine breakdowns and ensure quick troubleshooting.

Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

Supervise and guide the mechanical maintenance team.

Plan maintenance spares and coordinate with Stores/Purchase.

Coordinate with Production and other departments for maintenance activities.

Ensure safe working practices during maintenance and breakdown activities.

Maintain proper records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance and major repairs.

Other Requirements

Valuable leadership and team-management skills.

Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and maintenance documentation.

Willingness to attend critical breakdowns whenever required.

Industry Preference: Aluminium Foil / Aluminium Rolling

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
