Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated, experienced, and responsible Academic Head to lead and manage the institution's academic operations. The ideal candidate should have strong academic leadership, communication, coordination, and team-management skills.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining academic standards, supervising faculty members, monitoring student performance, coordinating academic activities, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the academic department.

The candidate should also be capable of handling classroom sessions in either Malayalam or English, depending on their subject expertise and institutional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the overall academic activities of the institution.
- Develop, implement, and monitor academic plans, schedules, and teaching strategies.
- Coordinate with faculty members and ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
- Monitor faculty performance, attendance, teaching quality, and academic progress.
- Conduct regular academic review meetings with faculty members.
- Monitor student attendance, performance, discipline, and overall academic development.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus, assignments, assessments, and academic activities.
- Support faculty members in resolving academic and classroom-related challenges.
- Coordinate examinations, evaluations,



academic events, and student activities.
- Maintain academic records, reports, schedules, and documentation.
- Communicate academic updates and reports to the management.
- Handle Malayalam or English classes as required by the institution.
- Maintain discipline, teamwork, and a positive academic workplace.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. or other relevant teaching qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong subject knowledge in Malayalam or English.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Experience Requirements

- 2–4 years of experience in academic administration, academic coordination, teaching, or a similar leadership role.
- Experience in managing faculty members and academic operations is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience in Malayalam or English will be an advantage.
