Role Description The Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hubli, responsible for supporting and maintaining business imaging equipment and related systems. Day-to-day tasks include installing, configuring, and commissioning devices; performing routine preventive maintenance; and diagnosing and resolving technical issues at customer locations. The role involves providing field service support, responding to service calls, and ensuring minimal downtime through timely repairs and accurate documentation of work performed. The Service Engineer will collaborate with internal teams, communicate clearly with customers about issues and resolutions,



and follow company standards for safety, quality, and compliance. The position also requires updating technical knowledge on new products, contributing feedback for service improvements, and maintaining professional conduct during customer interactions.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve hardware and software issues in imaging and document management systems.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Field Service experience, including on-site visits, installation, configuration, and commissioning of business imaging equipment.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair capabilities to perform preventive maintenance, replace faulty components, and ensure reliable performance of devices.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues, explain technical issues in explicit terms, and document service activities accurately.
- Relevant technical qualification such as a diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or a related field.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and service documentation, and use diagnostic tools and software.
- Strong customer service orientation, time management, and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Willingness to travel locally in and around Hubli for on-site service calls; prior experience with imaging, printing, or office automation equipment is an advantage.
