About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer – Hyperion Essbase with strong technical expertise in Essbase development, administration, application support, and production operations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting regional Hyperion Essbase applications, managing production environments, developing enhancements, monitoring batch jobs, and ensuring application performance and stability.

- AutoSys Job Maintenance – Create, Update & Delete Jobs
- Essbase Smart View Excel Add-in
- Lifecycle Management (LCM)
- Essbase Backup & Recovery
- Application Migration and Setting Monitoring
- Essbase Optimization and Performance Tuning

Functional Skills & Responsibilities

- Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Planning
- Data Validation and Reconciliation
- Smart View End-User Support
- Month-End Activities – Scenario Opening and Closing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support
- Production Release Coordination
- Application Migration Activities
- Outline Management and Metadata Maintenance




- Production Support for regional Essbase applications
- Production Deployment and Application Health Checks
- Batch Job Monitoring and Environment Monitoring
- Disaster Recovery Support
- Development of new applications, enhancements and production fixes

Experience & Qualification

- Minimum 8+ years of relevant IT experience.
- Strong experience in Hyperion Essbase development and administration.
- Hands-on experience in production support and application maintenance.
- Practical experience in two coding languages or advanced practical experience in one coding language, as specified in the role requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred: ETL experience and 10+ years of Hyperion Essbase experience.
