Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with robust expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies and full-stack application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, contributing to architectural and design decisions, and delivering high-quality software following industry-standard engineering practices.

The role requires strong technical capabilities, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and Web API.

- Develop scalable, reusable, maintainable, and high-performance software components and services.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs, WCF services, Windows Services, and other web services.

- Work with relational databases, designing and optimizing queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, QA engineers, and clients to understand functional and technical requirements.

- Analyze business requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions and implementation approaches.

- Perform code reviews, identify technical improvements, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Conduct unit testing, debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting of complex application issues.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, concurrency issues, and security vulnerabilities.

- Implement engineering best practices, including code refactoring, performance optimization, and maintainable code design.

- Participate in deployment activities, version control,



and CI/CD processes using Azure Dev Ops and Git.

- Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software while maintaining technical standards and project commitments.

Required Technical Skills

1. Programming Languages & Frameworks

- Solid hands-on experience in C# and .NET technologies.

- ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core.

- ASP.NET Web API and RESTful Web Services.

- WCF Services and Windows Services and SOAP services.

- WPF and desktop application development.

- Experience in developing scalable and service-oriented applications.

2. Object-Relational Mapping (ORM)

- LINQ (Language Integrated Query).

- Entity Framework (EF).

- Entity Framework Core (EF Core).

- Understanding of ORM concepts, database relationships, and query optimization.

3. Client-Side Technologies

- HTML5 and CSS3.

- Java Script and jQuery.

- Bootstrap and responsive web design.

- Experience integrating client-side applications with backend APIs.

4. Database Management Systems

- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

- Working knowledge of PL/SQL.

- Stored Procedures, Triggers, and User-Defined Functions.

- Database design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.

- Strong understanding of relational database concepts.

- Understanding of SSIS / SSRS would be added advantage.

5. Dev Ops & Development Tools

- Git and Git Hub for source code management and version control.

- Azure Dev Ops for work item tracking, source control, build, and release pipelines.

- Postman for API development, testing, and validation.

- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and deployment practices.

Engineering Best Practices & Quality Standards

- Unit Testing and debugging.

- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem resolution.

- Code reviews and adherence to coding standards.

- Code refactoring and continuous code quality improvements.
