Job Summary

The Enrollment Manager owns the admissions experience and its operations: everything a family encounters from first inquiry to settled arrival, and the re-enrollment relationship after that. The Manager runs admissions across the school, escalating to the Director where there are exceptions, strategic considerations or policy or judgment requires.

The role combines front-of-house judgment with operational discipline. The Manager runs the pipeline in OpenApply, coordinates application review with divisions, manages offers and onboarding, and keeps the process documented and improving every cycle. The Manager supervises the Admissions Assistant, who runs the front desk and provides day-to-day admissions administration, works closely with the Comms Marketing team, so that admissions marketing and transition materials improve parent experience; and with the Community Life Manager on orientations, events and the handover into community life.

Responsibilities

Admissions experience

- Manage the family journey from inquiry to enrollment: emails, tours, visits, and clear, timely, personal communication throughout.
- Answer admissions emails promptly and personally, with back-up from the Admissions Assistant.
- Set the standard for how prospective families are received at first contact - by email, by phone and at the front desk.
- Represent the school s ethos and values in every interaction with prospective families.

Admissions operations

- Manage admissions across all divisions, escalating sensitive or exceptional cases to the Director.
- Run the admissions pipeline in OpenApply, making sure every inquiry and application moves promptly and nothing falls through.
- Coordinate application review, assessment and straightforward decisions with divisional leadership.
- Manage offers, acceptance and onboarding, ensuring that records and compliance requirements are complete.

- Supervise the Admissions Assistant and direct the admissions administration the post provides.
- Develop and document clear admissions workflows and protocols with the Director, set service standards, and improve them each cycle.
- Work with the Director to develop significant improvements to the admissions and transitions experience.

Front office

- Hold front office operations: set the standard for welcome, responsiveness and visitor management, and make sure the front desk is covered.
- Make the front desk part of the concern-handling system, so that concerns raised there are logged and passed to an owner.

Student transition

- Own the student transition process from offer to settled arrival, coordinating with the academic teams, and including the content of onboarding information for current students and families.
- Keep the admissions assessment process agreed with divisional leadership, OTL and DSSS.
- Support the Community Life Manager in keeping families connected to the parent community after they arrive.

Retention and exit intelligence

- Lead retention conversations with families, and share enrollment patterns with the Director while there is still time to act.
- Own the entry and exit surveys and the reason taxonomy, so that the school knows why families choose AISC and can separate employer-driven from school-driven departures.

Pipeline analysis

- With the Director, review conversion at each stage of the admissions funnel, being strategic and accurate in use of data

- Contribute pipeline knowledge and local market insight to the Director s forecasts.

Policy and compliance

- Apply admissions policies consistently and keep policy documentation current.
- Make sure admissions practice complies with school policy and applicable regulations, with documentary compliance completed.
- Work with the Directors team to ensure that the school complies with passport and visa requirements.

Skills and qualifications

Essential

- Admissions or enrollment experience in schools, including managing a pipeline end to end.
- Excellent judgment with families, including delivering difficult news with care.
- Working proficiency in OpenApply or a comparable admissions system.
- Comfort with conversion data: knowing the numbers and what they mean.
- Strong process discipline: documentation, follow-through and continuous improvement.
- Experience supervising a team member.

Preferred

- Understanding of marketing funnels and how campaigns translate into inquiries.
- A second language relevant to the school s community.
