Role & responsibilities

- Establish and develop new suppliers based on quality, cost and delivery requirements.
- Lead annual cost-down negotiations and achieve targeted cost reductions.
- Source thick lens and reflector injection moulding components.
- Conduct supplier risk assessments and establish alternate sources to ensure supply continuity. Manage Engineering Plastics procurement, pricing and supplier negotiations.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve commercial/sourcing-related issues.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production and suppliers for new product sourcing and development.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong technical knowledge of Engineering Plastics.
- Excellent analytical, logical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Solid negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
- Experience in automotive components / injection moulding is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive lighting components such as lenses and reflectors will be an advantage.

Qualification: B.E. / Diploma in CIPET
