Role & responsibilities
- Provide on site mechanical support for Twin/Single screw extruders, pelletizers, feeders, and downstream equipment.
- Assist production teams during start-up, changeover, shutdown, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor machine performance (vibration, temperature, pressure, torque, output).
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of:
A) Extruders
B) Gearboxes
C) Screw & barrel assemblies
D) Die heads
E) Feeders
F) Cooling and heating systems
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 2.27 years in plastic compounding, polymer processing, or similar industries.
- Hands-on experience with twin screw extruders is preferred.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Must be comfortable working in production & field environments.
- Ability to handle mechanical tools and maintenance equipment.
