Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced AWS System Support Engineer with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure management, system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical support.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in managing AWS environments, maintaining system availability, resolving infrastructure-related issues, and ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of cloud-based systems.

The candidate must be capable of independently handling cloud infrastructure support, incident management, and operational activities in a production environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Manage, monitor, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
- Provide L1/L2/L3 system and infrastructure support for production environments.
- Administer and troubleshoot AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Route 53, and Load Balancers.
- Monitor system performance, availability, resource utilization, and infrastructure health.
- Troubleshoot server, network, connectivity, application hosting, and cloud infrastructure issues.
- Perform Linux and Windows server administration, configuration, patching, and maintenance.
- Manage user access, IAM roles, security groups, and access permissions in accordance with security policies.
- Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive measures to minimize recurring issues.
- Configure and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Support cloud infrastructure deployment, configuration, migration,



and environment maintenance.
- Monitor and optimize AWS resource utilization and cloud infrastructure costs.
- Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and incident reports.
- Coordinate with development, networking, security, and application support teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with infrastructure security standards, operational procedures, and SLA requirements.
- Participate in on-call support and scheduled maintenance activities as required.

Required Skills:

- Minimum 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience in AWS system support, cloud infrastructure support, or system administration.
- Robust practical knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Route 53, and ELB/ALB.
- Experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server administration.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, subnets, firewalls, and security groups.
- Experience with system monitoring, incident management, and production troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of AWS backup, recovery, and disaster recovery practices.
- Familiarity with cloud security, access management, and infrastructure hardening.
- Experience with shell scripting (Bash) or Python for basic automation.
- Understanding of ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently handle technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
