GCP Data Lead
Experience: 7+ Years
Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT workflows using standard ETL platforms, specifically leveraging DataStage and dbt.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Work extensively with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, and others.
- Develop automation scripts and data tools using Python and Shell scripting.
- Handle large-scale data sets with a focus on scalability and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
- Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and project delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Mandatory Skills: Strong,



hands-on production experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage and dbt (Data Build Tool).
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
- Expertise in ETL tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica, or other standard platforms).
- Strong proficiency in SQL with a focus on performance tuning and data manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
- Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for data processing and automation tasks.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale datasets and ensuring high-performance data flows.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience in leading technical teams and delivering end-to-end data solutions.
