Role & responsibilities

Determine and review the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower required for construction activities, and forecast project duration and resource requirements.

- Obtain work permits and ensure execution of work as per approved method statements and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, quality standards, and company safety policies.
- Implement project scope, specifications, and activities in line with the approved project schedule.
- Manage and oversee day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
- Monitor site activities including formwork, reinforcement, pre-stressing, and post-tensioning works.
- Coordinate with batching plants/stores for RMC requirements and ensure availability and functionality of construction equipment such as transit mixers, concrete pumps, and vibrators.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of finishing materials such as marble, granite, and tiles.
- Optimize utilization of machinery, formwork materials, and manpower to improve productivity.
- Monitor labour productivity and identify corrective measures for performance improvement.
- Ensure material wastage remains within approved norms and control project costs effectively.




- Monitor project progress, risks, and opportunities, and provide timely updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely closure of Non-Conformities (NCs) raised by Quality and HSE departments.
- Obtain all necessary statutory approvals, permits, and licenses for project execution.
- Support subcontractor evaluation and performance assessment processes.
- Prepare and submit regular project progress reports to management and stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering.
- 10 to 20 years of experience in the construction industry with strong expertise in high-rise building projects.
- Experience working with reputed contracting organizations on large-scale and high-value projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project execution, safety standards, and quality control practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven experience in managing and engaging high-performing site teams.
