Role Overview

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Workday Functional Architect to drive enterprise-wide HR transformation initiatives and support the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday solutions. This role will lead organizational design, process harmonization, and Workday functional architecture efforts while partnering with stakeholders across business and technology teams.

Your Responsibilities

- Lead organization transformation, organization design, and process harmonization initiatives across L1-L4 business processes.
- Define functional architecture and solution designs for Workday modules including HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, and Perks.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable functional solutions.
- Configure Workday applications using industry best practices.
- Support unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Guide Workday release management and adoption of new platform capabilities.
- Develop solution documentation, test plans, and training materials.




- Act as the primary Workday SME for functional design and integration touchpoints.
- Support change management initiatives and end-user adoption programs.
- Mentor team members and provide architectural oversight for enterprise implementations.

Your Profile

Required

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, HR, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 4+ years of Workday experience, including 3+ years in a Functional Architect or similar leadership role.
- Hands-on Workday configuration and implementation experience across multiple modules.
- Strong understanding of HR and business processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred

- Workday certifications (HCM, Payroll, Financials, or related modules).
- Experience with Workday Studio, EIBs, and Calculated Fields.
- Agile project delivery experience.
- Exposure to global and multi-country Workday deployments.
