Role & responsibilities

The Operations Manager will be responsible for end-to-end 3PL site operations, with a strong focus on safe, productive, and controlled yard operations. The role will ensure smooth vehicle and trailer movement, dock coordination, yard capacity utilization, operational performance, customer service, and adherence to safety and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day 3PL operations, ensuring achievement of safety, service, productivity, quality, and cost targets.
- Own yard operations, including vehicle/trailer check-in and check-out, parking allocation, dock planning, hostler movements, and coordination of inbound and outbound traffic.
- Monitor yard capacity, trailer availability, asset location,



queue status, and dwell time to prevent congestion and operational delays.
- Establish regular yard-health audits and promptly resolve displaced assets, ageing trailers, and exceptions in vehicle movement.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse, transport, security, customer, carrier, and vendor teams to ensure seamless yard-to-dock flow.
- Drive adherence to FIFO and site SOPs for inbound unloading, outbound loading, trailer selection, and vehicle movement.
