We are hiring an experienced professional for the position of Shift Incharge Production at our chemical manufacturing facility.

Position Details:

- Designation: Shift Incharge – Production
- Department: Production
- Experience: 4–8 Years
- Qualification: B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering)
- Industry: Chemical / Agrochemical / Pesticide Manufacturing

Job Responsibilities:

- Supervise day-to-day production shift operations and ensure achievement of production targets.
- Manage shift manpower, including operators and contract labour.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP, and safety standards.
- Maintain product quality parameters such as temperature, moisture, colour, etc.
- Ensure proper shift reporting, production records, and documentation.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Stores, HR, and other departments for smooth plant operations.
- Handle production startups, shutdowns, and process changeovers.
- Identify process abnormalities, troubleshoot operational issues, and minimise production losses.
- Ensure secure handling of hazardous chemicals and compliance with PPE and work permit requirements.
- Drive 5S, continuous improvement, and process optimisation initiatives.




- Train operators and contract labour on process SOPs and safety requirements.

Technical Skills & Experience Required:

- Hands-on experience in handling Phosphorus, Phosphoric Acid, Bromine, Sulphuric Acid, and other hazardous chemicals.
- Knowledge of chlorination and bromination processes.
- Experience in MS / SS reactor operations.
- Knowledge of scrubber systems, crushers, grinding equipment, blenders, and pumps.
- Experience in solvent handling, loading, unloading, and transfer operations.
- Strong understanding of chemical safety, PPE, JSAs, and work permit systems.
- Good manpower handling, shift planning, and troubleshooting skills.

Candidate Profile:

- B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in a chemical / pesticide manufacturing plant.
- Experience as Shift Incharge / Shift Supervisor in a continuous or batch chemical manufacturing process.
