Disblur explores how we understand ourselves, one another, and the world. Through interviews, articles, and other forms of storytelling, we bring forward perspectives from educators, writers, artists, practitioners, and people with meaningful lived experience. Our work centres on education, practical philosophy, culture, and the knowledge people develop through their lives.

We are looking for a curious, thoughtful journalist to work closely with the founder. You will discover potential guests, research their work, and identify ideas worth exploring in conversation. This includes approaching people, conducting preliminary conversations, preparing interview questions, and coordinating interviews from the first introduction through to recording.

You will also help turn these conversations into content—identifying valuable excerpts, developing summaries and articles,



and checking facts and context. Keeping research, guest communication, and schedules organised is an essential part of the role.

We value someone who can approach people with confidence and warmth, listen carefully, and ask questions that move a conversation beyond familiar answers. Preparation matters, as does knowing when to leave room for an unexpected story, a little humour, or a change of mind. Clear spoken and written English is significant. Telugu and other Indian languages are welcome, with assignments shaped around your language strengths. You should be comfortable researching independently, taking initiative, and following through on commitments.
