1. Perform welding work using Arc Welding, MIG Welding and other applicable welding processes.
2. Carry out repair and fabrication work on foundry machinery and equipment.
3. Attend welding-related maintenance breakdowns and complete repair work on time.
4. Perform welding work on conveyors, platforms, hoppers, chutes, pipelines and machine structures.
5. Support preventive maintenance activities by carrying out necessary welding repairs.
6. Fabricate and repair machine guards, brackets, supports and other components.
7. Carry out cutting, grinding and fitting work as required.
8. Follow instructions from the Maintenance In-charge for daily maintenance activities.
9. Check welding quality and ensure proper finishing of completed jobs.
10. Use welding machines, gas cutting equipment and other tools safely.
11. Maintain welding machines, cables, holders and other accessories properly.
12. Report machine defects, equipment damage and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
13. Maintain proper housekeeping in the welding and maintenance work areas.
14. Follow safety procedures and use the required PPE during welding and fabrication work.
