Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Workato recipes, reusable workflows, APIs, and event-driven integrations.
- Integrate SaaS applications, cloud platforms, databases, REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, and on-premises systems.
- Work with JSON, XML, Webhooks, SQL, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
- Configure Workato On-Prem Agent (OPA) and develop custom connectors.
- Implement error handling, retries, monitoring, logging, and production support.
- Build AI-powered automations and agentic workflows using Workato.
- Develop and configure Workato Genies using Agent Studio, including skills, knowledge bases, prompts, and application actions.
- Implement AI agent governance, security, RBAC, guardrails, and auditability.
- Support testing, CI/CD, deployment, and technical documentation.

Mandatory Skills

- 6+ years of IT/integration development experience.




- Strong hands-on experience in Workato.
- Expertise in Workato Recipes, Formulas, APIs, OPA, and Custom Connectors.
- Solid knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP, Webhooks, JSON, XML, and SQL.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security.
- Understanding of integration patterns and event-driven architecture.
- Working knowledge of GenAI, LLMs, AI Agents, and Prompt Engineering.
- Exposure to Workato Agent Studio and Genies.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Agile, and SDLC.

Good to Have

- Workato certifications.
- Salesforce, SAP, or Workday integrations.
- AWS/Azure, MCP, RAG, and enterprise AI orchestration.
- AI governance and human-in-the-loop workflows.
