Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welding Engineer role located in Umargam. The Welding Engineer will oversee welding operations for pipe fittings, ensuring processes meet quality, safety, and industry standards.

Daily responsibilities include selecting appropriate welding methods, preparing welding procedures, supervising welders, and resolving technical issues on the shop floor.

The role involves conducting welding inspections, reviewing test results, and collaborating with quality, production, and maintenance teams to optimize performance and reduce defects.

The Welding Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, contribute to documentation and compliance,



and assist in training team members on best welding practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Welding and Laser Welding for industrial and precision applications.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Welding Inspection and Quality Control to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Metallurgy to select materials, understand weld behavior, and prevent defects.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma in Welding, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Experience in fabrication or pipe fittings manufacturing, preferably in a high-precision, quality-focused environment.
- Understanding of welding codes and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS, ISO) and safety regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, WPS/PQR documents, and test reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in office.
