Warehouse Manager :

Position: Warehouse Manager Department: Warehouse / Supply Chain Management

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to manage the overall operations of a centralized warehouse, including inventory management, procurement, storage, dispatch, and logistics coordination. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse operations, maintaining optimal stock levels, controlling costs, and ensuring timely material availability across all business units and locations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Overall Warehouse Operations

- Manage and supervise the overall centralized warehouse operations.
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, handling, picking, packing, and dispatch of materials.
- Monitor daily warehouse activities and ensure smooth operational flow.
- Maintain proper warehouse layout, space utilization, and storage practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

2. Inventory Management

- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counts.
- Prevent stock shortages, excess inventory, damages, and wastage.
- Track stock movement, expiry dates, and slow-moving / non-moving inventory.
- Ensure proper reconciliation between physical stock and system records.

3. Procurement & Vendor Management

- Handle end-to-end procurement activities based on business requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Coordinate with internal departments for purchase requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials without affecting operations.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery timelines, and quality standards.

Centralized Warehouse Coordination

- Manage centralized inventory distribution to all branches and business units.
- Ensure timely material allocation and dispatch to respective locations.
- Coordinate with branch managers and department heads regarding stock requirements.
- Establish proper stock replenishment and distribution procedures.
- Maintain centralized control over inventory and material movement.

5. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain GRN, Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans, Stock Registers, and invoices.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and warehouse reports.
- Monitor procurement costs, stock turnover, and inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records through ERP / inventory management software.

6. Team Management

- Supervise warehouse staff, storekeepers, and inventory personnel.
- Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Train employees on warehouse procedures, inventory control, and safety practices.

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management.
- Positive understanding of procurement and vendor negotiations.
- Experience in centralized warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of ERP / Inventory Management Systems.
- Strong coordination, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage stock audits and inventory reconciliation.

Qualification & Experience :

- Education: Any Degree / B.Com / MBA in Supply Chain Management or relevant qualification.

- Experience: 7 –10 years of relevant experience in Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, and Procurement.

- Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Retail, or Distribution industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
