Role & responsibilities

1. Operate and monitor centrifugal casting machines and ensure smooth production operations.

2. Handle melting furnace operations and coordinate heat treatment processes.

3. Identify and resolve process-related problems in centrifugal casting.

4. Plan daily production activities and achieve production targets.

5. Manage manpower allocation and supervise shop-floor activities.

6. Monitor casting quality and minimize rejection and material wastage.

7. Coordinate with the quality and production teams for timely completion of orders.

Preferred candidate profile

- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or Production Engineering.

- 3-4 years of experience in foundry operations, preferably in centrifugal casting.

- Solid knowledge of centrifugal casting machines and melting furnaces.

- Practical experience in heat treatment processes and casting defect analysis.

- Ability to handle manpower and manage production planning.

- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Experience in metal casting and foundry production is preferred.
