We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Video Tape Digitization Technician to join our team in New Delhi.

The selected candidate will be responsible for digitizing legacy video tapes and converting analogue media content into accessible digital formats using skilled video playback and capture equipment.

This position is ideal for individuals interested in media technology, video production, digital preservation and technical operations. Candidates with basic computer knowledge and a willingness to learn professional digitization workflows are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate professional video tape playback equipment for digitization projects.
- Handle and process different types of legacy video tapes and recording formats.
- Monitor video and audio signals during the digitization process.
- Ensure accurate capture of video and audio content.
- Perform quality checks on digitized files, including playback verification and identification of audio or video issues.
- Organize, name, label and maintain digital media files according to project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of tapes processed, completed jobs and technical issues encountered.
- Handle archival tapes, cartridges and other media carefully to prevent physical damage.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure projects are completed within assigned timelines.
- Maintain digitization workstations and follow established operational procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Understanding of file management,



folders, copying and data organization.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Responsible handling of equipment and physical media.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred QualificationsThe following qualifications and experience will be considered an advantage:
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Multimedia, Media Technology or a related field.
- Familiarity with video formats such as MP4, MOV, AVI, MPEG or similar.
- Basic understanding of video and audio signals.
- Experience with video editing, video capture or media conversion software.
- Exposure to professional video equipment, VCRs, tape decks or broadcast systems.
- Previous experience in video digitization, media production, broadcasting or digital archiving.
