Role Description The Vendor Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role involves identifying, evaluating, and developing new vendors, as well as enhancing relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of components and materials.

The Vendor Development

Engineer will coordinate technical requirements with vendors, support procurement teams with vendor selection and negotiation, and monitor vendor performance using defined metrics.



Daily responsibilities include conducting market research for potential suppliers, supporting quality and engineering teams in vendor audits and approvals, and collaborating with sales and business planning teams to align vendor capabilities with company growth objectives. The role also requires preparing reports, maintaining vendor documentation, and providing internal training or guidance related to vendor processes and standards.
