1. Job Summary

The Unit Head is responsible for managing and overseeing the overall operations, business performance, and administration of the assigned unit. The role involves ensuring operational excellence, achieving business objectives, managing employees, maintaining customer satisfaction, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Unit Head acts as the key decision-maker for the unit and ensures that all departments work efficiently towards achieving organizational goals.
1. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Operations Management

- Oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the unit.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
- Develop and implement operational plans and procedures.
- Monitor operational activities and ensure service standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections and operational reviews.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.

B. Business Performance & Revenue
- Take ownership of the unit's revenue, profitability, and business performance.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Monitor sales, revenue, expenses, and operational costs.
- Identify opportunities to increase business and improve profitability.
- Implement strategies to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and review business performance reports.

C. Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and manage the entire unit team.
- Set clear goals and responsibilities for department heads and employees.
- Monitor employee performance and productivity.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Identify training and development requirements.
- Ensure proper staffing, discipline, grooming, and attendance.
- Build a positive and performance-driven work culture.

D. Customer Experience & Service Quality
- Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.




- Handle escalated customer complaints and critical issues.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvement measures.
- Ensure consistent delivery of quality products and services.
- Develop strategies to improve customer retention and loyalty.

E. Financial Management & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor unit budgets.
- Control operational expenses and unnecessary expenditure.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and wastage.
- Ensure proper financial controls and accountability.
- Review financial reports and take corrective action wherever required.

F. Compliance, Safety & Administration
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Maintain safety, hygiene, and security standards.
- Ensure proper maintenance of infrastructure and equipment.
- Monitor audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Maintain proper documentation and operational records.

G. Reporting & Coordination
- Submit regular performance reports to senior management.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Sales, Operations, and other departments.
- Communicate management decisions and business objectives to the team.
- Escalate major operational and business challenges.
- Ensure timely implementation of management instructions.

1. Educational Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, or a relevant field.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant industry experience.
- Previous experience managing a business unit or multiple departments is preferred.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
