Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to design, analyze, and implement productive transportation systems and mobility plans. The candidate will work on urban and regional transport projects, focusing on traffic management, public transport planning, and sustainable mobility solutions.

Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive transport and traffic management plans for urban and regional areas

- Conduct traffic impact assessments and mobility studies

- Analyze transport data using tools such as GIS and transport modeling software

- Design public transport routes, transit-oriented development (TOD) strategies, and non-motorized transport (NMT) plans

- Coordinate with government agencies, stakeholders, and consultants for project execution

- Prepare detailed project reports (DPRs),



feasibility studies, and technical documentation

- Ensure compliance with local regulations and urban planning guidelines

- Support implementation and monitoring of transport projects

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of traffic engineering and urban transport planning

- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS/QGIS) and transport modeling tools (e.g., VISUM, VISSIM)

- Knowledge of Indian urban transport policies and guidelines

- Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
