JOB TITLE: Service Engineer – Press (Ceramic Machine)

LOCATION: Morbi, Gujarat

JOB ROLE: The Service Engineer – Press (Ceramic Machine) will be responsible for the installation, development, troubleshooting, commissioning and testing of ceramic press systems and components for ceramic machinery, including solutions for continuous presses. As a key member of the team, you will work in complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure the successful delivery of innovative solutions tailored to ceramic manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will bring deep industrial engineering expertise, a strong ability to manage projects effectively and a passion for driving continuous improvement in ceramic machinery solutions.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Act as the primary point of contact for all press related issues in ceramic machinery. Address and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.

Project Management: Work on assembly, fitting, testing, cabling, hydraulic work, Electrical and commissioning of recent machinery. Ensure timely and high-quality execution of projects for Press machines.

Reports and Documentation: Installation reports, machine testing, startup & production reports, training report, assembly visit report and final reports.





Collaboration & Teamwork: Conduct regular meetings to monitor the progress of ongoing projects, share ideas and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing within the team. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the best solutions are implemented.

Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer-related technical issues or maintenance. Coordinate with customers to understand their needs, provide support and ensure satisfaction.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all machinery work meets regulatory requirements, safety standards and company policies. Promote a culture of safety within the team and during project execution at customer place.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BE / Diploma in Engineering relevant

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- 10 years and above proven experience in press within industrial machinery, ideally in ceramic manufacturing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proficiency in decision-making, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with teams and clients.
- Willingness to travel as required.
