Technical Content Writer – SAP Marketing

Role overview

We are looking for a creative writer who combines storytelling, technical understanding and generative AI skills to build compelling content for HCLTech’s SAP business. You will translate complex technology topics into clear business narratives, build AI-assisted content workflows and manage content quality and governance. Experience within the SAP ecosystem is preferred.

Key responsibilities

- Create thought leadership articles, customer stories, website content, solution brochures, campaign assets, executive perspectives and video scripts.
- Turn technical inputs into engaging stories with a clear point of view, relevant examples and credible proof points.
- Interview SAP experts, business leaders and delivery teams to develop original content.
- Write about SAP S/4HANA transformation, Business AI, SAP BTP, industry solutions and autonomous enterprise operations.
- Build and maintain generative AI workflows for research, briefing, drafting, repurposing, editing and content optimisation.
- Develop reusable prompts, templates and editorial guidelines to improve consistency and reduce production effort.
- Manage content governance, including factual validation, source attribution, confidentiality, brand consistency and human review of AI-generated outputs.
- Own editorial calendars, content inventories, version control, approval processes and delivery timelines.




- Apply SEO principles and monitor content performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with campaign and design teams to maintain consistent messaging across channels.

Required skills and experience

- 3–5 years of experience in B2B technology content writing, preferably within enterprise technology or IT services.
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, supported by a portfolio.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate their business relevance.
- Practical experience building AI-assisted content workflows, with clear quality checks and human approval stages.
- Solid research, interviewing, stakeholder management and editorial operations skills.
- Familiarity with SEO, content governance and performance measurement.

Tools and preferred qualifications

- Hands-on experience with AirOps or comparable AI content workflow platforms.
- Proficiency with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini for research synthesis, drafting and editing.
- Familiarity with SEO and optimisation tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs or Surfer, and editorial tools such as Grammarly.
- SAP content experience and working knowledge of ERP, cloud transformation and enterprise AI are preferred.
