About Role:

We are looking for three motivated and enthusiastic Robotics & Automation Interns to join our team in Ahmedabad.

The interns will support research and evaluation of automation opportunities across manufacturing and industrial environments. This is a three-month, unpaid, hybrid internship requiring approximately 20 hours per week.

Working under the guidance of the team, interns will gain practical exposure to industrial automation, robotics technologies, manufacturing processes and business process improvement.

Responsibilities

- Research industrial robotics, automation technologies and their applications in manufacturing.
- Identify and document manufacturing processes that could benefit from automation.
- Research robotics manufacturers, automation solutions and emerging technologies.
- Collect and organize technical information, equipment specifications and industry data.
- Assist in evaluating automation technologies and their potential applications.
- Prepare research reports, presentations and process documentation.
- Support basic feasibility assessments and automation opportunity analysis.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute ideas for improving industrial productivity.




- Assist with basic testing, project coordination and implementation-related activities under supervision.

Who can Apply?
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Genuine interest in robotics, industrial automation and emerging technologies.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or engineering concepts.
- Good research, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and documentation tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid workplace.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative and accept constructive feedback.

Prior experience with robotics, automation projects, CAD tools or technical research is an advantage but not mandatory.

Exposure

- Practical exposure to industrial robotics and automation applications.
- Experience researching real-world manufacturing challenges.
- Understanding of how businesses evaluate and implement automation solutions.

- An internship completion certificate, subject to satisfactory participation and completion of assigned work.
