- Manage end-to-end import, export, and coastal cargo customs clearance activities.
- Obtain timely discharge/loading permissions from Customs authorities.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Commercial, Finance, GST, Treasury, CHA, Shipping Lines, and Customs authorities.
- Verify import/export documents, invoices, contracts, Bills of Lading, and Certificates of Origin (COO).
- Review and validate FTA documentation to avail applicable customs duty advantages.
- Monitor Advance Authorisation requirements and coordinate with DGFT-related activities.
- Ensure timely filing of Bills of Entry and Shipping Bills.
- Handle customs queries, reassessment cases, amendments, and final assessments.
- Prepare customs duty calculations and verify duty liability before filing.
- Plan and forecast customs duty payments and fund requirements.
- Prepare approval notes and coordinate with Finance for customs duty payments.
- Track customs duty payments and ensure timely reflection in the ICEGATE system.
- Obtain Out of Charge (OOC) and facilitate cargo release within timelines.
- Process and monitor customs duty refund claims and refund realization.




- Coordinate final assessment of Bills of Entry and Shipping Bills.
- Ensure timely closure of IDPMS and support GST credit compliance.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports related to Customs, IGST, RoDTEP, and captive cargo.
- Monitor vessel schedules and maintain shipment tracking reports.
- Ensure compliance with Customs Act, Foreign Trade Policy, DGFT regulations, and EXIM policies.
- Support customs audits, legal matters, and appeals in coordination with legal teams.
- Drive customs duty optimization and cost-saving initiatives.
- Utilize FTA benefits, Advance Authorisations, and RoDTEP credits effectively.
- Monitor exchange rate impact and optimize filing strategies for duty savings.
- Minimize interest costs through proactive customs duty planning and fund management.
- Implement process improvements and support ERP/EKAYAAN system enhancements.
- Maintain strong stakeholder management across internal and external teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance for all EXIM transactions.
