About The Job

We are looking for an experienced MarkLogic Developer with robust expertise in NoSQL databases and XML-based technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and managing MarkLogic solutions, handling data ingestion and harmonization, and building content management and transformation solutions.

The role involves collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, understanding functional and non-functional requirements, and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.

Know Your Team

You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, business stakeholders, and technical professionals to design and deliver scalable MarkLogic solutions. The team focuses on data management, content transformation, application development, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

- Understand functional and non-functional requirements and participate in client calls to clarify requirements.
- Analyze requirements and prepare impact analysis documents to understand changes to existing functionality.
- Utilize NoSQL databases, with a focus on MarkLogic, including data ingestion and harmonization.
- Develop solutions using XML, XPath, XQuery, and XSLT for content management and bulk transformations.
- Build, deploy,



and manage MarkLogic projects using ML Gradle, ensuring efficient CI/CD automation and environment configuration.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions, focusing on unit testing and development best practices.
- Work with MLCP, CORB tools, and MarkLogic REST APIs.
- Work with TDE (Template Driven Extraction) views to enable metadata enrichment.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to design scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance and data-quality issues across MarkLogic environments.
- Provide documentation, knowledge sharing, and best-practice guidance for MarkLogic development.

Requirements

- 4–7 years of experience in NoSQL databases, with strong knowledge of MarkLogic and XML-based languages (XPath, XQuery, XSLT).
- Experience with MarkLogic Data Hub Framework, MLCP, CORB tools, and REST APIs.
- Strong technical experience in unit testing, code versioning, and following development best practices.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good To Have

- Experience working with MarkLogic 9 or later versions, including practical use of TDE views.




- Understanding of the insurance domain and advanced search capabilities.
- Exposure to architectural design and performance tuning for MarkLogic clusters.
