Manager. The role involves leading and coordinating project design activities, preparing and reviewing engineering drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards, particularly in the pharma sector.

Responsibilities include managing project schedules and resources, overseeing execution and commissioning phases, and collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues. The role also requires regular interaction with clients and vendors, preparation of technical documentation, and support for quality, safety, and validation processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Production, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience: 5 to 6 years of core engineering experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and project management tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing and technical reporting environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Design & Layouts: Prepare and review engineering drawings, GMP-compliant layouts, and concept notes using AutoCAD.
- Process Flow Design: Design efficient personnel, material, and waste flows,



incorporating comprehensive waste-handling methodologies.
- HVAC & Environmental Control: Develop concept notes for HVAC systems, establishing layouts for room classification, zoning, and differential pressure (DP) regimes.
- Documentation & Specification: Draft and review User Requirement Specifications (URS) for manufacturing facilities, process equipment, and clean utilities.
- Process Engineering: Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), and robust engineering documentation.
- Project Management & Execution: Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and multidisciplinary coordination (mechanical, electrical, etc.) from design through to commissioning.
- Validation & Compliance: Oversee commissioning, qualification (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ), and validation activities. Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), validation protocols, and risk assessment/mitigation plans.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary technical interface with clients and vendors to resolve engineering issues, support quality audits, and ensure safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

- Technical Expertise Required

- Pharma Utilities: Comprehensive understanding of the operation, installation, and maintenance of critical clean utilities, including Purified Water (PW) systems, Water for Injection (WFI), Pure Steam Generators (PSG), and plant utilities (HVAC, BMS, DG Sets, Boilers, Compressors, Air Driers).
- Solid Dosage Equipment: Hands-on experience with the installation, commissioning, or maintenance of oral solid dosage equipment (e.g., RMG, FBD, Sifter, Multimill, Granulation lines,



Compression machines, Capsule Filling, Inspection, and Packaging lines).
- Sterile/Liquid Equipment: Hands-on experience with sterile processing equipment (e.g., Vial Washing, Filling, Sterilization Tunnels, Capping, Lyophilizers, Filtration systems, Autoclaves, Inspection, and Packaging lines).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of global regulatory standards, including USFDA, EU GMP, WHO, and local GMP requirements.

Candidate must have project management and project execution skills.
- Preparation of GMP layouts using AutoCAD
- Preparation of people & material flow
- Preparation of waste flow and knowledge of waste handling
- Preparation of concept note for designing of HVAC system and layouts for classification, Zoning and Differential pressure (DP).
- Preparation/review of URS for manufacturing facility
- Develop PFDs, P&IDs;, and engineering documentation.
- Preparation/review of URS for process equipment and clean utilities
- Preparation of SOPs / Qualification documentation / Validation protocols
- Risk assessment & mitigation plan
- Complete understanding of HVAC system and its working principles
- Complete understanding of Water System (Purified water and Water for injection) and Pure steam and their working principles
- Hands-on experience in installing/maintaining production equipment like FBD, RMG, Sifter, Multimill, Granulation, compression, capsule filling, Inspection, Packing, etc.
- Hands-on experience in installing/maintaining production equipment like Vial washing, Filling, Tunnel, Capping, Lyophilizers, Filtration, Autoclave, Inspection, Packing, etc.
- Knowledge of utilities like Purified water system, WFI, PSG, HVAC, BMS, DG Sets, Boilers, Compressors, Air driers etc.
- Knowledge of commissioning, qualification (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ), and validation activities.
- Complete knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements of USFDA, EU GMP, WHO,
- Project management and project execution
