Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Microservices Commerce Associate to design, develop, and modernize enterprise commerce applications as part of a large-scale migration from Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) to a Unified Digital Platform (UDP).

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Backend: Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA.
- Microservices: Microservices architecture, REST APIs, DDD, API Gateway and design patterns.
- Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3.
- Cloud DevOps: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD, Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
- Messaging Integration: Kafka, event-driven architecture, enterprise system integrations.
- Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL fundamentals.
- Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Postman, Playwright, SonarQube.

Hands-on experience with AI-based solutions and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
- Build React-based commerce storefront applications.
- Integrate commerce platforms with OMS, ERP, payment, loyalty, catalog and search systems.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Support SFCC-to-UDP migration, data migration, cutover and hypercare activities.
- Ensure application performance, security, quality and automation.
- Collaborate with Agile teams and contribute to technical design and code reviews.

Experience Qualifications

- 8+ years of overall software development experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Java development.
- 3+ years of microservices and cloud-native application development.
- Experience in E-commerce, Retail, Digital Commerce or platform migration projects.
- Solid problem-solving, communication and ownership skills.
