– Senior Fire Sprinkler CAD Designer

Role Overview

Design and layout fire sprinkler systems from architectural and engineering drawings using industry-standard CAD-based fire protection software. Prepare accurate shop drawings and coordinated layouts that comply with NFPA standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Lay out fire sprinkler systems from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using AutoCAD, AutoSPRINK, SprinkCAD, HydraCAD, or equivalent.

· Develop piping layouts, equipment rooms, risers, seismic bracing, and hanger details.

· Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation drawings, and construction documentation.

· Coordinate layouts with architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical disciplines to resolve clashes.

· Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and client/project specifications.

· Perform quality reviews and mentor junior CAD designers.

· Manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery.

Required Qualifications





· Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field.

· 7+ years of AutoCAD drafting and engineering design experience.

· Expert proficiency in AutoCAD.

· Strong understanding of MEP drawings and multidisciplinary coordination.

· Knowledge of drafting standards, layering, dimensioning, and detailing.

· Excellent communication and attention to detail.

· Comfortable collaborating with U.S.-based teams, including overlapping evening hours.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, SprinkCAD, or equivalent.

· Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, especially NFPA 13.

· Experience preparing shop drawings, equipment layouts, and BOM.

· Experience supporting U.S.-based engineering or construction projects.

· Familiarity with BIM/Revit workflows.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
