Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement and demonstrate automated application delivery, security integration, data engineering and Power BI reporting for the PARLE project.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML Pipelines and GitHub Actions, including source control, pull requests, approvals, automated builds, testing and application deployment.

Integrate DevSecOps controls, including SAST, dependency vulnerability scanning, secret scanning and security gates.

Automate Azure infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Bicep and manage Azure services, Key Vault, identities and access controls.

Develop Azure Data Factory pipelines for data ingestion, orchestration, scheduling and movement between agreed data sources and Azure services.

Develop Azure Databricks notebooks and PySpark workflows for data transformation, validation and processing.

Implement the Bronze, Silver and Gold Medallion Architecture using Delta Lake.

Integrate Databricks Gold-layer datasets with Power BI dashboards, including data connectivity, refresh automation and output validation.

Implement version control and deployment automation for application and data workflows across DEV/QA environments.

Own end-to-end POC implementation, troubleshooting, technical documentation and client demonstrations.





Mandatory Technical Skills

DevOps: Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, GitHub, GitHub Actions and Git.

DevSecOps: SAST, SCA, secret scanning, vulnerability management and secure CI/CD.

Azure Cloud: App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Azure Monitor and identity/access management.

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or Bicep.

Data Integration & Orchestration: Azure Data Factory pipelines, linked services, datasets, triggers and pipeline monitoring.

Data Engineering: Azure Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, ETL/ELT and Bronze/Silver/Gold architecture.

BI & Reporting: Power BI integration with Databricks Gold datasets, semantic models and refresh troubleshooting.

Scripting: Python, PowerShell or Bash.

Experience and Candidate Profile

Strong hands-on experience implementing Azure DevOps and GitHub CI/CD workflows.

Practical experience developing Azure Data Factory pipelines and Databricks data-processing workflows.

Experience implementing Medallion Architecture and integrating Gold-layer outputs with Power BI.

Ability to work independently, troubleshoot technical issues and deliver a complete working POC.

Good documentation, communication and client-facing presentation skills.

Valuable to Have

GitHub Advanced Security, Databricks Unity Catalog, advanced Power BI/DAX, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and relevant Azure or Databricks certifications.

Note: Candidates must demonstrate practical experience across DevSecOps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Power BI integration. The role requires end-to-end implementation capability, not just theoretical knowledge of individual tools.
