Paint Application

- Apply primer, base coat and top coat using spray gun, air spray, airless spray or other approved application methods.

- Maintain correct spray gun distance, angle, pressure and movement.

- Ensure uniform paint coverage on all required surfaces, including edges, corners and difficult areas.

- Follow approved paint mixing ratios and application procedures.

- Apply paint according to specified colour, finish and coating requirements.

- Carry out touch-up and rework wherever required.

C. Paint & Material Handling

- Mix paint, thinner, hardener and other materials according to specified ratios.

- Verify paint type, colour code and batch before use.

- Maintain proper handling and storage of paint and chemicals.

- Minimize paint consumption and avoid unnecessary wastage.

- Report material shortages or abnormal consumption to the supervisor.

Quality

Control

- Conduct visual inspection of painted components.

- Check for defects such as:

- Uneven coating

- Runs / sagging

- Orange peel

- Pinholes

- Blisters

- Dust particles

- Colour variation

- Poor coverage

- Poor adhesion

- Scratches and marks

- Ensure required coating thickness and finish are achieved.

- Segregate defective parts and carry out rework as instructed.

- Coordinate with Quality personnel for inspection and rejection control.

Equipment

Operation & Maintenance

- Operate spray guns, paint pumps, booths and related equipment safely.

- Adjust spray pressure, nozzle and paint flow as required.

- Clean spray guns, hoses, nozzles and containers after use.

- Report equipment abnormalities and breakdowns immediately.

- Maintain tools and equipment in valuable working condition.

F. Production & Productivity

- Achieve daily production targets as assigned.

- Follow production schedules and work instructions.

- Maintain proper work sequence to avoid production delays.

- Reduce rework, rejection and paint wastage.

- Support continuous improvement activities for productivity and quality.

G. Safety & 5S

- Strictly follow PPE requirements, including safety shoes, gloves, mask/respirator and goggles as applicable.

- Follow paint-shop safety procedures when handling flammable materials and chemicals.

- Maintain proper ventilation and booth safety.

- Keep the workplace, paint booth and tools clean and organized.

- Follow 5S, fire safety and environmental requirements.

- Dispose of paint waste, used containers and contaminated materials as per company procedures.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
